Chromosome disorders are those which are caused due to genetic make up or mutation or error in the gene make up. Such diseases are not affected by the environmental factors but are caused due to intrinsic factors. Some of the chromosomal disorders are obesity, autism, mental retardation, cleft lip, auto immune diseases, asthma and inflammatory bowel movement. All the congenital disorders are also attributed to the chromosomal make up of the cell. Most of the genetic diseases are incurable but they can definitely be treated.
